Ancient symbol for the axis or world mountain; a holy mountain or high place of God. To the ancient Egyptians it represented a stairway to heaven for the deceased, as well as the sun’s rays descending to earth. It was, thus, a threshold symbol.
More mundanely, as a pointed object, it is related to the phallus. The square base and four sides relate it to the square and the number four. The shapes of the sides also relate it to the triangle and the number three. It may represent a wider awareness, especially as related to spiritual issues; the mysterious unknown; spiritual initiation.

I had a dream were a pharaoh lady was trying to trap me in to suck the life out of me. She told me we were on tour. I went inside and overheard her conversation where she said, “All these people will die.” So I ran out of her tomb, which had still had people in it. I took my two best friends with me. As I couldn’t breathe, I jumped high and above into some sort of gateway, where you could spin around and we left. There was so much more to this dream…

I dreamed that I was sitting in a large dark groove that spiraled up a black pyramid. The pyramid was riddled with skeletons and debris of fallen warriors and I was all alone looking out at the world. No matter how I tried I could not reach the top.

I dreamed I was inside a small pyramid that I had built under duress. This was inside a much larger building. The pyramid echoed inside, I hollered to scare those who had caused me to build it around me. There was a small hole I could crawl out, but there was a beautiful and non-aggressive black jaguar outside walking about. I felt no real fear that the jaguar would come into the pyramid, but knew I should not leave it while it was nearby.
