First, I want to make it known that I have 4 children…But I always dream of 1 of my sons falling. I started having this kind of dream about him when he was a baby. He is now 9 years old and I still have dream about him falling to his death. He usually doesn’t fall in the same way…it tends to be different every time. I usually never see my kids in my dreams, just my 1 son, and when he is in a dream, he is falling to his death. I would really like to know why I have this dream.

It was a short dream but a scary one nonetheless, for it was the first time I had ever dreamt of taking my own life. It was quite scary. It was also peculiar as it was the first time I dreamt of driving my current car. I had always dreamt of driving my old cars before, so that little detail really stuck. Anyway, I was in a place kinda like the Grand Canyon, which I’ve never been to. I wasn’t driving fast, in fact, I was slowing down to a stop looking over that Grand Canyonesque cliff. It looked beautiful. The with no real reason at all, I decided that, instead of turning slowly towards the road, I would slowly drive over the edge of the cliff. It was more than a decision, it was an urge. A very scary urge. & even though my heart was pounding out of my chest with fear & I was asking myself what the *bleep* was I doing, I did it anyway. Suddenly, though, once over the edge & falling, I was on the back seat of the car, feeling the exilaration of the fall, heart pounding & at the same time thinking why wasn’t I thinking of anything to at least try to survive this. I mean, it’s the normal thing to do. I regreted falling but wasn’t doing anything about it to avoid any lethal injury to myself, I was just letting it happen. The only thing I could think of was a “reset” button on the dashboard which was to far for me to reach because I was on the back seat. A “reset” button? Really? To “reset” the fall & appear on top of the cliff again as if nothing had happened. Then, a voice in my head said, u can’t reset this one, u must live with the consequences of what u wanted to happen. It got scary, but for some reason I thought, don’t worry, it’s ok, at least this is only a dream, so u don’t have to worry about needing to reset this. Shortly after that I woke up. I must also add that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t really focus on the ground coming towards me. It would come really fast as if it was gonna impact me & then it would “reset” itself to a higher view & I would relive the ground coming towards me all over again.

I have a reoccuring dream where (I’m not sure how or why), but I’m falling down a set of stairs. I’m very scared and short of breath, everytime knowing how its going to end. Just before reaching the bottom, my legs always fall to the bed and I wake up as If I really was falling.

I have a lot of dreams where I don’t really remember or know why I am falling or what I am falling from, but I’ll be falling in my dream and right before I hit the ground, I jump awake shaking and breathing hard.

Most of the time I dream that I am falling free from the height but never touch the ground and little bit frightened also but I don’t want to show it to others that I’m scared. Some times I fall but do not touch the ground and again go up and fall.

In my dream, I was driving my van and came to a red light. I needed to make a left turn but my windows were suddenly fogged up. I turned, seeing only a hint of green through my foggy window. I began then to pull over so that I could wipe my windows but drove into a ditch and started falling. As I fell, the van turned upside down and we continued to fall for what seemed like forever until I thought to myself, “Do I have my seat belt on?”, and then I woke.

I dreamed once that I was falling off of the Grand Canyon, but i didn’t really care. It was a very nice free-fall, and I woke up before I reached the bottom.
