An amusement park with people, lights, rides and games may be a call to distraction, or a signal that you need to consider adding enjoyment, expansion, and variety to your life. It may represent a current challenge yourself a little more. Consider everything in the park as expression some aspect of yourself, and have some fun getting to know your many subtleties and talents. If dark, quite, and empty, it may be time to open yourself to more fun and adventure.

I have this dream where I am in a house down the road a little bit across the street from this carnival. It’s always night time, completely dark except for these lights, these bright bright lights like you see in football stadiums, and they are shining over the carnival. The rides in this carnival are moving and there is carnival music, but there are no other lights, no other people. I don’t normally have “nightmares” and in fact I don’t think I’ve ever had a true nightmare. But this dream resonates because of the sensation this carnival gives me. In my dream I’m always behind the curtain in the window peering out of the blinds. The house is dark too and I have a feeling of being watched or like something else is in the room with me that I can’t see. I have always felt varying amounts of fear in this dream and would name it the closest ever come to being a real nightmare. It’s the feeling that makes the dream so bad and in the same motion it intrigues me, because there isn’t another one I’ve had quite like it.
